Good afternoon!
Today I've been altering something else! I've been using a wooden drawer to create a wardrobe. The drawer is stood on its end and has been distressed all over with Walnut Stain (by the ever-so-inspirational Tim Holtz!). I've also added some bobbins with ribbon wound around them to the bottom as little feet. The buttons are all from our stash, as is all the ribbon. The embellishments (eg. the coat hangers that the tags are hung from, the mannequins, bobbins, sewing machine, etc. are from Cuttables Vol. 3 for the craftROBO/Silhouette). The papers used are all from 'The Elegance Collection' CD.
I used 300gsm card for the coat hangers (which works like a dream
through the Silhouette Cameo!) and distressed them with my old favourite
ink-pad.Now for a close up on the tags that are hung inside the wardrobe:
The sewing machine above is decorated with our 'Cherry Blossom' stamp which is great for editing die-cuts and for around the edge of backing papers. It's also been used on the tag below - along the edges of the mask and papers.
The bobbins, button card, mask and birdcage have all been cut on the Silhouette from Cuttables Vol. 3 (£6.00) and the little distressed dots on the button card have been done with a mask from Cuttables Vol. 3 too!
I hope you like it (I can't stop admiring it at the moment - I'm so proud!)
Have a wonderful day,
Hayley xx

An extraordinary concoction.
Good evening,
I am so sorry for being awol just lately but I have managed to pull together a pretty nice project to show you!
It's been one of those months (years more like!) where every day just goes so quickly and very little that isn't absolutely neccesary gets a look in! But here we go!
I've had a play with a couple of wooden embellishment trays and hinged them together with paper - all papers featured here are from our 'The Elegance Collection' CD.
These first three photos are of the outside - the two sides & the hinge. Keys/Locks/Snowball border/Flower are from our new CD for the craftROBO/Silhouette: Cuttables Vol. 3! Pearls were grabbed from our box of bits along with the beautiful gold button that I pulled off some of my old clothes! The distressed spots are made from a mask on Cuttables Vol. 3 - used walnut stain through it to add a little something to the corners!
Hinges, Flowers and Butterflies were from Cuttables Vol. 2 along with more vintage buttons from my Grandma's box. The little bird charm was one I got from Meiflower when we were stood beside them at a show! The little birdhouse was taken from Cuttables Vol. 3 too. Finally, the hat pins were from a supplier at the craft fairs and tea-rose flowers are available on our website (www.dreamees.org.uk).
Here's a full shot of the inside:
Hope you love it as much as I do!
Now to pack it up for Leicester tomorrow, unless it finds a home somewhere around the house!
Take care & I'll see you soon!

Right, ow for the inside! The bunting was just made by cutting triangles of 'The Elegance Collection' backing papers and gluing the corner to corner with a slight slope. The die-cut tree is from Cuttables Vol. 3, as is the mesh in the bottom left compartment, the jigsaw piece in the bottom right and the spotted mesh in the top left. I found a couple of old fuses in a sewing box that used to belong to my Grandma, along with a large googly eye (I turned it around and used the back in the middle right compatment) and some absolutely beautiful buttons!
