Huge Update!

Good Morning!

I've got lots of cards to share with you today - we released a new range of everyday stamps (Out of the Ordinary) on Monday evening and WOW! It just proves that the market for making teen cards is quite empty! Thankyou for the response to these stamps & the new CD - I'm so pleased you like it.

The range is great for younger cards 'cause it includes a campervan, sweet machine, shoe, mobile phone, camera, etc! BUT, it's also a really versatile range that can be used for any age.

All the cards have been made using the new CD Out of the Ordinary and the new stamp range which includes these gorgeous stamps shown below:

Have a lovely day!

Playing with Fran-táge!

Good Afternoon!

I've been a little out of the cardmaking mood just recently (I don't know why!) but I finally had some inspiration just before heading to bed last night... which had to wait until this morning!

I've used the baubles topper from our CD Christmas Extravaganza and all papers from the CD too. The blue plaque which is just visible in the background is made from a plaque on the CD which I enlarged.

Over the weekend, I've become slightly obsessed with using Fran-táge... it's amazing! If you've never tried it, it's so fun! I've used the powders & fragments on the cream layer across the card, along with using the same technique with some ordinary gold embossing powder I didn't know we had. It's just around the edge of my topper too and I've also covered the Snowflake die-cuts.

The two corners are taken from a square metal embellishment (I cut it in half) which we will be stocking soon (I'm making a list of goodies to buy from the supplier as we speak!) - they're great and as you can see, I've added fran-táge on top, along with some Distress Crackle Paint in Picket Fence!

As always, I've used my favourite Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad Gathered Twigs - to stamp my sentiment, I've used Tuxedo Black Memento ink & the sentiment itself is from the Traditional Wreath stamp set (£3.00).

Flowers are from the supply we have and you can pick up the small pink ones online here - I've also used a memo pin to hold the sentiment.

Hope you like it!

I'm off for another play with my fran-táge - have a lovely day!

One for the men!

Twice in one day - wow, I'm on a roll!

Right, here's a card made using solely stamps & embellishments

Backgrounds were made using:
Bundled Sage & Gathered Twigs distress ink pads

The topper image is our Penny Farthing - I've only used it for female, flowery cards up until now but it can be a very manly image!

I've used some die-cuts from Cuttables 2 and 3 (CD Roms for the Silhouette/CraftROBO) which I've dabbed with Frayed Burlap Distress Crackle Paint

I've used some Crinkle ribbon (now sold by the metre), inking it with Gathered Twigs distress ink pad and Old Paper distress stains.

On the birdcage, I've tied a ribbon (made with Crinkle Ribbon) through the top, used a Trinket Pin and a Hinge clip to embellish.

I've used some Sprocket Gears in the middle of the smaller wheel and the top corner of the image.

I've used the Christmas Pearls again, a bit of twine that you can barely see (wrapped four times around the middle) and finally, sentiments are from:
Flower Shapes (2) for the Happy Birthday
and the word Dad was made using our Alphabet set!

We got so many likes on the facebook page that I thought I should blog it!

I hope you like it!

From Paris...!

Good Morning!

Less than one week now (as a matter of fact, it's two & a bit days until set-up!) to the Great British Craft Festival! We're super excited and everything is finally ready... apart from about 25-50 sample cards... oh dear!

Anyway, speaking of samples... I've officially claimed this stamp set as my favourite from the everyday releases - here are two cards I've recently made with it!

The above card has been made with papers from the Simply Sweet double CD  which is just £14.99! I've used a bit of kraft card to stamp my Eiffel Tower onto, and to stamp Script onto for the top backing paper. Behind the Eiffel Tower, I used some embellishment stamps that are including in the set (which is just £3.50!) to create a background, along with the script.

I've used some Teal tea roses (10mm) which are 75p for a cluster of 12 to add to the flower arrangement - the rest are just from our huge selection of flower stash! I've used the Circle Sentiment from our Everyday Set (1) for the 'With Love' - it's approx. 1.5" in diameter and great for punches - the sentiment is attached using a project embellishment Memo pin too (I LOVE memo pins!)

I also received my copy of Simply Homemade via post on the Saturday morning that I made this card so grabbed the freebie on the front (stunning silver charms & sticky-backed domes to make your own metal embellishments!) and made a cute little Eiffel Tower pendant by masking the postage stamp from the Perfume stamp set onto some paper & sticking the dome on top! I cut it out and then glued onto the backing pendant - attached some white ribbon & there we go!

With this card (above), I used the card shapes from our  Simply Sweet double CD  to create the scalloped shape and all papers are from that CD too! Around the edge of the card, I stamped the swirl that comes with the Dragonflies stamp set to create a border/background.

I used part of a doily, some gorgeous red crispy lace ribbon, some teardrop lace (ivory), some of the Christmas pearls (which are perfectly usable every-day!) and a length of twine!

To make the flower arrangements, I used some daisies from our stash, a large red (50mm) flower, a handmade navy flower (from some backing paper) and some 10mm red flowers.

Sentiments are from:

'Friend' is in the Eiffel Tower stamp set
and
'Happy Birthday' is with Flower Shapes (2)

AND, my favourite part of that card is the bunting - made using Gathered Twigs distress ink pad, Festive Berries and Faded Jeans - I've stamped the Triangles stamp set onto plain white card, cut them and spread them along the card to make bunting!

(I used red, blue & white/brown for a French feel... but it seems to remind me of the beach more so!)

And here's a bauble I made from the Christmas Extravaganza CD - the shape comes on the CD and is designed for a 'make-your-own MDF' sort of idea (also on the CD are elongated hearts & stars!). I used to constantly buy my MDF shapes and boxes to decorate, but instead now I cut a shape from sturdy cardboard (a box that delivers our polymer, a few sheets of cereal box cardboard stuck together, etc!) and then treat it just like MDF! (You can do the exact same thing with our Templates & More CD - which includes lots of templates to play with!)

Papers are all from Christmas Extravaganza , I've used some die-cut snowflakes, and some project embellishments such as Hinge clips and a Gem clip!

You can get all our favourite project embellishments in small amounts now here which includes smaller amounts of lightbulbs, memo pins, hanger clips & more!

I hope you like these projects - they're heading for our stand at the Great British Craft Fest on Friday so be sure to pop by if you're going!

Have a great week,

Trio Of Christmas Cards

Hello everyone, Kitty here! Today i have a trio of Christmas cards i have made using the fantastic new Christmas Extravaganza CD Rom.

 Winter Trees

Reindeer

Snowman
Everything on these cards was made using the Pre Made Sheets from the CD. These really are brilliant as it has all the elements you need to create a card. Whether you are a beginner, need a quick card or just fancy something simple to do these are perfect! I made all of these earlier this week when i was still feeling poorly, i really wasn't up to doing much but i missed crafting and wanted to do something. All i added to these cards was a bit of glitter and some pearls and gems.

I will be back with a stamped card very soon )

A big update...

Wow, August already!

I'm so sorry this blog isn't updated too regularly - but I'm working on getting some sort of updates coming often! We're going to be sorting out a Design Team call so be sure to check out the facebook page where all the info will be listed.

We released SO many new products this week - or last... time flies! - and we've been having a play with some of them.

Here are some everyday cards made:

The one above & below have both been made using the Dragonflies stamp set - on the card above, the lower backing paper (with the triangles on) has been made using lots of pink ink pads & the gorgeous Triangles new release! I've used the swirl that comes with the Dragonflies to make the top backing paper.

Here is one of my favourite stamps - the Cupcake Stand! - it was recently featured in Simply Cards & Papercraft too! The above card uses papers from the new releases Christmas Extravaganza CD Rom and some gorgeous Paper Flowers.
Here's the card that was in the magazine:

The above sentiment used is part of our Circle Sentiments (Everyday 2) pack for just £3.00! And the smallest paper flowers are in the Dreamees shop too!

The two cards (above & below) are made using the Teapot & Cup stamp set which I LOVE. It comes pre-dotted for you but if you mask off the dots using cellotape, you can get it plain too! On the above card, I've use Flower Shapes (3) for the flowers and then Flower shapes (2) for the leaves - they've been stamped onto coloured paper & I cut up the flower (2) into four sections to make the leaves!
We've also got the gorgeous doilies back in stock which are just £1.50 for 40 AND the green gingham ribbon!

This card uses our gorgeous Crispy Lace Ribbon too - we've used white on this card and doesn't it look gorgeous as a huge bow?!

And these two use our Perfume bottle stamp set - the cards both use Gorgeous Girls CD Rom for the papers - again, the gorgeous doilies are used on both cards. The top card does also use the small heart that comes in the Perfume bottle stamp set to edge the topper - with a pearl in the middle! And, speaking of pearls, the bottom card has the perfume bottle covered in them!

I hope you love all these cards... and now for my favourite part...

CHRISTMAS CARDS!

Now then, this one at the top is one of my favourite cards I've made in a long time... it's been made using the Snowglobe stamp set (£3.00) and the Christmas Owl stamp set (£3.00) - I stamped the baubles from the Owl set inside the snowglobe, added dots around using Blossom Pink promarker, Cool Gray 1 promarker & Tan promarker and added some glitter! The sentiment comes with the snowglobe & the papers are from Christmas Extravaganza! I've also used some Crispy Lace Ribbon along the centre - stone I think!

The next three cards come as ready-cards on the new CD Christmas Extravaganza - I've created 10 sheets (each with a different topper images) that has all you need to make a quick and effective card. You get all the pieces, the topper, the embellishments AND an idea of how I put it all together - but of course, it's completely up to you whether you use the idea I've given you or have a play yourself! Plus, it's such a money-saver 'cause everything is on one sheet!

And on the above card, it's proof you can add your own embellishments such as the corner, metal charm, ribbon & doily! All the other parts came on one sheet.

Above is the Christmas Pudding from the CD - and check out the cute postage stamp which is on the CD too! The flowers are on the CD, but we also do that shape as a stamp set: Flower Shapes (4)

And here's the Christmas Pudding stamp - I paper pieced it used Christmas Extravaganza, added a doily & nabbed the sentiment from the Snowglobe stamp set! Flowers are made from the CD (they come pre-patterned) though you can do the exact same thing with the stamps & some off-cut patterned paper!

And here's one made with the Let it Snow (Tree) stamp set - papers from the new CD and the tree was paper pieced too!

I've still got these gorgeous Christmas stamps to have a play with, and about 50 cards that need making for Great British Craft Fest. where we'll be setting up at in just 1 weeks time!

AND, we added a huge amount of embellishments to the online shop yesterday (I was lucky enough to get an hour & half off to visit a supplier yesterday morning!) so be sure to check those out in the New Products section!

I picked up the best-selling ivory teardrop lace (1/2") in black & white now too so check that out for just £1.00 per metre!!

Oh and before I forget - the best place to keep up to date with all the newest cards (and some sneaky peeks that I probably shouldn't share but still do!) is on my instagram account.

Please do bare in mind though that it is a personal account so there will be some extra pictures (like the rainbow that appeared among the heavy rain & gorgeous sun a couple of days ago, and my new favourite pair of shoes...) but they are very few & far between since I post about 5 - 10 cards daily!

You can find my instagram account HERE

Right - now I'm off to make some more stamps... guess where I'm going to be shipping to very soon? China! We've officially got our first international stockist... Day by Day crafts in Hong Kong, China!

It's so, so exciting here at the moment & I honestly can't thank all of our customers and stockists enough for their support - I've been hoping Dreamees would take off and it's a dream come true that it is doing.

Have a wonderful day,

Hayley xx
